Click Start Tax Return and complete the intake form. Once submitted, we’ll follow up within 24–48 hours with next steps and access to our secure client portal.

How much does tax preparation cost?

Pricing varies based on your tax situation. After reviewing your intake form, we’ll confirm pricing before any work begins. Preparation Fees must be paid prior to filing or through tax refund.

Where do I upload my tax documents?

For security reasons, documents are not uploaded through the website. All documents are uploaded through our secure client portal after your intake is reviewed.

Do you file both federal and state taxes?

Yes. Federal and state tax returns are prepared and filed as applicable.

How long does the process take?

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of your return and how quickly documents are submitted. Most returns are completed within a few business days once all required information is received.

Can you help with self-employed or 1099 income?

Yes. We work with freelancers, independent contractors, and small business owners, including Schedule C filers.

Do you offer tax extensions?

Yes. We can file federal and state tax extensions when needed. Please note that extensions provide more time to file, not more time to pay.

Can you amend a previously filed return?

Yes. We prepare amended returns for prior years when corrections are needed.

Do you offer refunds in advance or refund loans?

No. The Filing Haus does not offer refund advances or loans. Refund timing is determined by the IRS and state agencies.

Is my information secure?

Absolutely. All sensitive information is handled through a secure client portal designed for tax professionals.

Do you offer year-round support?

Yes. We’re available outside of tax season for questions, amendments, and planning support.

Can I pay my tax fees from my refund?

Yes, qualifying clients may choose a refund transfer option, allowing preparation fees to be deducted from the refund through a third-party bank.

Are there additional fees?

If a bank product is selected, the bank may charge processing fees. All fees are disclosed and acknowledged before filing.
